Battling Summer Allergies

Not only do we have to suffer through spring allergies, but once we think we are finally in the clear, summer pops its head out and here we are dealing with summer allergies all over again! Pollen is a huge trigger for allergies, and even though during the spring is when most flowers and trees bloom, pollen still continues to grow in grasses and weeds.

Types of weeds that cause summer allergies;

    • Ragweed
    • Tumbleweed
    • Sagebrush
    • Cockleweed

Like spring allergies, summer allergies typically have the same symptoms; runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, coughing, sneezing, etc. To treat these symptoms, you can purchase any type of over the counter treatments. These include but are not limited to; antihistamines, decongestants, eye drops and nasal sprays.
